Spike's Gem

"That's Spiky-Wiky's gem, and no one else's!"

This was going to me in my "It's tuff being cute!" series, but Spike doesn't look too 'tuff' in this pic. 

I been wanting to draw this lil' dragon for a long time, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I know I will do it again in the future.

There's something weird about that gem. I drew it so it wouldn't look like your typical chaos emerald-like gem, but something about it is bugging me, like I seen it before somewhere. Creepy....
